How to arrive

To reach the bench you can opt for two different routes: one I recommend it for the more daring, while the other is more suitable for a family walk.

In case you fall into the first category, then I advise you to park at “Church of San Giacomo – Sale Marasino” (click here for the coordinates). The car park does not have many parking spaces. If you can’t find a place, you can always take a look at the street next to the church.

In case, however, you are looking for a quieter walk, then you can park on the street in “Via Tesolo 39 – Sale Marasino” (click here for the coordinates).
Attention, the parking is on a stretch of road with a high slope.

The way

If you opted for the first option, get ready for a nice climb from the first stretch!

The daring route starts right from the parking lot near the Church of San Giacomo (photo above) and has a stretch of asphalt with a rather challenging gradient and for a fairly long stretch.

After 700 meters of ascent you will have arrived at the point where the shortest route begins (photo on the left).

Panchina Gialla Percorso

At this point of the route there will be only about 400 meters to reach the destination.
The stretch is uphill, but the view that awaits you as soon as you get to the top is absolutely worth the effort!

The stretch is unpaved and mostly wooded (photo on the left).
On days of scorching heat, despite the slope, I assure you that it is very pleasant to walk along this road.

At the end of the climb I assure you that you will not need many other indications: the bright color of this bench will stand out in the distance.

As soon as you get on the bench you will feel like you are spying on Lake Iseo from above.
You will be able to enjoy a view of almost the entire lake and you will see even Monte Isola clearly.

The area you are in is like a small glimpse totally immersed in the woods.
