In the small town of Chivasso, not far from Turin, stands this beautiful red-and-white bench overlooking the Po River.
After taking a relaxing walk along the river, sit on the bench. Enjoy a pare moment listening to the sound of the river and the chirping of birds.

How to get there
To reach this bench there are two parking lots. The first one is the “official” one of the trail while the second one is a small parking lot nestled in the woods. The official parking lot is in “Via Brozola – Chivasso” (click here for coordinates) while the alternative parking lot is in “Str. Vecchia Comunale del Porto – Chivasso” (click here for coordinates).
We started the route starting right from the second parking lot.
The route
The route is easy, almost flat. Perfect for a quiet Sunday walk.
The first part of the trail is a little isolated, but as soon as you approach the Po River the path will open up flanking a large green meadow on the left and keeping the river on the right instead.
As you approach the river, you cannot help but notice the bench even from a distance.
With its snowy white color, it is impossible to miss!
At this point all you will have to do is walk down the steps to sit on the bench.
From here you will see the river flowing slowly before your eyes. In no time you will feel totally immersed in nature.
The bench in Chivasso is not very busy so if you are lucky you can even sit on it and read a good book.
Take advantage of it to take a moment for yourself, relax before returning to the busy city life.
