How to arrive
To start the route, you can park in the car park in the immediate vicinity of the start of the route “Via Všeň – Tiarno di Sotto“ (click here for the coordinates). Unfortunately this car park only offers about 4 parking spaces, therefore, you will need a little luck to find a free one.
Alternatively you can opt for parking in “Piazza S. Giovanni Bosco 15 – Tiarno di Sotto” (click here for the coordinates). Leaving the car here, the road will be slightly longer, but nothing to worry about!
The way
The route is really simple, suitable for both families and animals.
Starting from the closest car park, you will take this small path (top right photo) which will wind its way through the houses in the area. The path will soon leave the village of Tiarno di Sotto to allow you to immerse yourself in the woods.
As soon as you arrive at this spot, you will realize that you are surrounded by the wonders of nature. All around you will have the forest vegetation of Trentino and turning to your right you will see the river created by the waterfall, which flows with overwhelming force.
Towards the end the path will become a sort of not very wide concrete walkway where I advise you to pay attention because depending on the season it could be quite slippery. The walkway will take you up to the crystal clear waterfall that rises from the cave.
Going in winter is an even greater emotion: the charm of the snow creates an enchanting atmosphere. ❄️
