Just a few steps from the heart of Brianza, there is a path that combines nature and tranquility: the walk between Novedrate and Figino Serenza.
Immersed in the greenery of the Brughiera Briantea Park, this walk offers glimpses of woodland, well-marked trails, and a relaxing atmosphere — perfect for unwinding.

How to get there
The starting point of our walk also happens to be where it’s convenient to park.
There is a large free parking lot in front of the school in Figino Serenza, located at “Via Europa 3a – Figino Serenza” (click here for the coordinates).
The route
This walk is perfect for taking a stroll in nature or for some peaceful time at the end of the day. The trail is mostly well-lit, making it ideal even at twilight or for a walk after dinner.
Starting from the parking lot in front of the school, you need to head left and take the bike path that runs alongside the fields. After a few meters, cross the road and continue along a tree-lined avenue.
The tree-lined avenue also serves as a divide between the towns of Figino Serenza and Novedrate; step by step, you will notice that you are gradually reaching Novedrate.
At this point, you will need to follow the bike path, cross the road, and take the small path located to the left of a small parking lot. This secluded path will lead you through the streets of Novedrate, passing by the local houses.
After passing by the town’s school, continue by going left and then immediately right, following the bike path. The path continues under a bridge and then runs alongside a sports center. The bike path ends in a residential area of Novedrate.
Conclusion
The care with which this urban path has been maintained truly surprised us! For this reason, we often return to walk in this area.
What, in our opinion, makes it even more special is the possibility of walking it without problems in the evening.
The trail is, in fact, equipped with lighting specifically designed for pedestrians, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy some fresh air even in the evening hours.
