Easy Difficulty

This giant throne, installed in 2021, is inspired by the famous international Big Benches we have often told you about in our articles.
And if you missed them, you can always catch up here!
In a short time, it has become a favourite destination for hiking and nature lovers like us.
How to get there
Besides being an easy trek, finding parking will be just as easy.
In fact, there are several car parks for hikers along the route. Although they are small, it is usually not difficult to find a place.
The first car park is in Via Masù e Pret – Fino del Monte (click here for coordinates). Should it be full, you can continue a little further on, where you will find a second car park.

The route
The path to the Presolana Throne is very easy, except for the last section, which has a rather steep ascent.
From the car park you start to climb gradually along a paved road. As you proceed, the gradient will increase and, after passing a fountain, you will have to take care to turn left to enter a wooded section.
As you walk through the forest, you will see a number of small works, probably created by local primary school pupils, whose bright colours will accompany you along the way.
Continuing along the path, you will eventually reach a clearing. On the left you will find a well-equipped structure for a rest, while on the right you can continue to the Presolana Throne.
In the equipped area you will find chairs, tables and even grills for a good barbecue. In this area, board games such as checkers are also available free of charge.

The final climb to the throne is the most challenging part of the route. Although it is a short section, the ascent is very steep and the terrain is entirely gravel. Pay particular attention, especially on the descent, because the ground can be slippery.
Difficulties aside, once you get to the throne, you will feel like a real king or queen. All you have to do is sit back, relax and admire the Presolana, perfectly framed by the wooden structure.
